ANS Hair Studio & Boutique was birthed out of sheer passion for making women look and feel beautiful. Owner, Alexis Nicole Howell, decided to attend Atlanta Beauty Academy as a full time Master of Cosmetology student in October of 2010. As a student, Alexis began to develop her craft as a cosmetologist. While in school, she attended many classes on both hair & make-up, perfecting her God-given talents.
In November 2011, Alexis graduated from Atlanta Beauty Academy, and began working as a full-time stylist. Alexis has always been healthy hair driven, and believes that a woman's ability to escape to a place where she can relax and enjoy beauty services is nothing short of a necessity.
Alexis specializes in flawless silk presses and styling on natural hair, cuts, colors, and flawless extensions. Being a young, well-rounded stylist is one of her many accomplishments, and having a flair for whats hot allows her creativity to be reflected in her work.
Zakiya Prawl, Hair Designer
Zakiya graduated from The Process Institute Academy in 2013 and has now been doing hair professionally for 6 years. Zakiya's specialties include healthy hair maintenance, and undetectable, natural looking sew in extensions.
While she loves transforming with extensions, she believes every woman should take special care of their natural grown tresses. "I love doing hair because I get to make women feel beautiful. Andrea Howell, Salon Manager & Apprenctice
Andrea is naturally great at making people feel special and creating environments with organization and order. Born and raised in a household where creating meaningful relationships was key caused a natural love for the sunshine that that she shares with everyone who comes in her presence. Andrea has been in the hair industry for 10 years; originally as Alexis Nicole’s trusty Salon Assistant, Salon Manager and now as a passionate Apprentice. While juggling the many responsibilities that come along with being an amazing hands on mother to her two beautiful children, she also fell in love with the Beauty Industry and is now making her own way and realizing the strength that she has obtained while traveling this journey as a single mom. Andrea makes people feel special and ensures that her clients time with her will always leave a lasting positive impression. She prides herself on ensuring that every client that sits in her chair feels welcome, special and leaves her presence with a smile and an extra bounce in their step.
